Global Photography Exhibit to Launch Oct. 8 | Literary & Visual Arts ...

On Oct. 8, aday.org will launch a global exhibit of photographs that were all taken on May 15. The project is the brainchild of Swedish non-profit foundation Expressions of Humankind. According to its website:

According to the project, when they asked amateur and professional photographers to take one picture from their daily life on May 15, they got 100,000 photos from 165 countries.

The photographs will be displayed digitally all over the world starting on the morning of Oct. 8. Within 48 hours, the exhibition will have traveled around the globe.

Beginning in Nov. 2012, an exhibition tour will be launched at the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg, Sweden.
